I got this to mount to the 6 Rotary table, and it was the best thing I ever did! It_ a little tall when added to the rotary table, so I_l likely end up getting the 4 version as well, but I still have enough height for 90% of my projects. I faced off each of the jaws so they were all perfectly aligned with my table and there was only about 0.001 variation across all four jaws on any of the steps! The thread on the jaws were a little stiff when reversing them, but that is freeing up with use, and less play is better anyhow. The bottom of the chuck has a recessed hole, so I did make up a locating pin that fits the hole in the rotary table and the hole in the chuck, which centers it almost perfectly, and only requires a couple of minutes with a dial indicator to get it centered as I snug up the clamping bolts. Once centered, I get less than 0.001 runout. It_ great for securing odd shapes, or locating a piece off center from the axis of the rotary table. The rotary table makes it super easy to tram the work piece and to change the orientation on the fly! I love this setup!
