The aluminum edging was absolutely great, highly recommend. for some reason it is supplied with plastic spikes, which are kind of silly, you will definitely need to separately purchase 8 to 10 inch metal spikes to secure this. I would suggest they either charge a little bit more and supply metal spikes, or don’t include the spikes as it’s pretty rare you can use a plastic spike in this application. if you were to show up to a job site with this box, expecting to get it done only to open it and find these somewhat cartoonish plastic spikes. You would have to stop work and go to a hardware store to get the metal spikes. it would be better to know upfront that it essentially does not come with spikes to secure or if they want to provide bikes provide proper metal ones. The upside is it’s just a common spike that it uses, other edging we’ve used in the past has required a special spike that cannot be easily obtained so I much prefer the style of edging over ones with funny spikes which can not really be purchased separately.

My husband installed the edging and said it was surprisingly very easy and it looks great.
