A bit fiddly to assemble, product did not match product photos in listing but is still 100% functional. Know that you are not buying a production machine, it's for hobbyists and therefore limited in table size, spindle capacity and rigidity. There's lots of accessories to add on.

The assembly instructions are rather like those you get with flat pack furniture, line drawings and a few lines of text, and are quite simple to follow. You even get the tools (hex keys) you need, though ball ends would have been useful on the M4 bolts. Some of the parts are supposed to be a specific distance apart however the cast aluminium corner joiners are a little too big to get one quite right. It was supposed to be 56mm but without filing down the joiners it ended up as 60mm, not of any consequence really. Some of these fittings did need a little filing to remove excess material, took minutes to clean them all up. There are no end switches so you have to ensure the job fits within the useable work space, there do seem to be solder pads (but no pins fitted) to the board where you'd expect so I'm not sure if they'd work even if I fitted a set though I might try it out. There are the pinouts fitted for an offline controller which should be any generic GRBL unit. Overall the assembly is very simple and quite obvious though if you get stuck or aren't sure just look up a build for a 3018 machine that looks the same and it will fill in any gaps you might have. I would think that most people could easily convert the box of parts onto a working machine in 2 hours. Once assembled the machine feels rigid and flex free, it is certainly more than rigid enough for the type of work it is likely to be used for and is robust enough not to fall apart !! The machine comes with a set of 30 degree v knife bits bits, these will be OK for general and letter engraving but you'll need a set of small mill bits to do much else. The laser is a 500mW low power unit with manual focussing which is good for surface burning, this can be upgraded if you want to do cutting. Overall a good and upgradeable machine.

Man hat damit ziemlich viele Möglichkeiten, auch kleinere Spannvorrichtungen lassen sich damit bauen, man kann die Maschine auch mit eigenen Bauelementen vergrößern und erweitern, sogar eine Leistungsstärkere Spindel und bessere Antriebsmotoren lassen sich einbauen, ob man am Ende wirklich etwas mit dieser Maschine anfangen kann, liegt daher beim Werker und seinen technischen Fähigkeiten. Hatte mir dazu noch ein Set mini Spanzangen bestellt, nun kann ich auch mit nem 8ter Vhm Schaftfräser schön Material wegfräsen. Zustellungen bei Kunstoff und Holz sind bis 5mm auch überhaupt kein Problem, schön hohe Drehzahl, scharfes Werkzeug und schon läufts wie durch Butter.

Momentan gibt es in einem der Gr??ten Chinesischen Verkaufsportale ein Angebot, die 3018 CNC f_ 139,00Euronen, mit kostenloser Lieferung direkt aus dem Herzen der Volksrepublik China. Allerdings ohne einebatteriebetriebe Mini Tischlampe, deren praktischen Wert ich bereits zu sch?tzen gelernt habe!Warum ich mich ausgerechnet f_ den Kauf dieser 3018 CNC von Techlifer entschieden habe? Diese 3018CNC wird mit Spritzgu?teilen und nicht 3D Druckteilen geliefert. Spritzgu?teile sind einfach genauer undstabiler! Die Tischlampe hatte keinen Einflu? auf meine Auswahl.Das Paket beinhaltet alles was man zur Inbetriebnahme des Ger?tes ben?tigt. Vom K_lk?rper f_ dieMotortreiber bis zur Beleuchtung (Mini Tischleuchte) ist alles vorhanden. Das ER11 Spannfutter undSpannzange als auch eine einfache Werkzeugspannvorrichtung sind zur Auswahl beigef_t. Baupl?ne und Softwaresind auf einen 256MB (Megabyte) gro?en USB- Stick gespeichert. Die NEMA17 Motoren haben eine Geh?usel?nge von38mm und die Steppertreiber A4988 sind _er den Vref Potentiometer auf den Wert von ca 0,6V vom Haus auseingestellt, das ergibt einen Strom von ca. 0,800 Ampere. Der Widerstand Rs auf den Motortreibern ist mit R100gekennzeichnet das deute ich als 0,1Ohm. Die Formel f_ die Berechnung des Stroms f_ die A4988 Motortreiberlautet: Imax= Vref/(8*Rs) Umgestellt nach Vref= Imax*8*Rs.Habe in kleinen Schritten immer wenn ich nur Zeit hatte die Maschine aufgebaut. Dabei ist mir aufgefallendass beim Zusammenbau nach Anleitung die Verfahrwege nicht voll genutzt werden konnten. Im Foto welchesangef_t ist habe ich folgendes festgehalten:- Zusammenbau des Grubdgestells, (Wei?) um vollen Verfahrweg nuntzen zu k?nnen. ( Separater Einkauf!)- M5x12 Linsenkopsschrauben f_ Linearf_runghalter (Blau) Sieht nicht nur besser aus, es greifen mehr Gewindeg?nge.- T- Nutmuttern (Gelb, meine pers?nliche Wahl nicht wirklich notwendig).- Gummif?e, da bei mir der Motorhalter f_ die Y- Achse etwas _ersteht und die Maschine nicht auf dem Aluprofil aufliegt sondern auf dem Motorhalter. Hoffe ebenfalls auf etwas D?mpfung. Gummif?e mussten aufgebohrt werden, dazu die Dinger im heissen Wasser baden und die Scheiben herausholen aufbohren und wieder reindr_ken.Habe auch gleich GRBL 1.1h mit dem xLoader in das Eprom geschrieben und folgende Einstellungen viaG- Codesender get?tigt: $3=6 (y und Z Achse invertiert) $100=800 (Schritte je mm bei 1/16 microstepping und 4mm Wellensteigung) $101=800 (Schritte je mm bei 1/16 microstepping und 4mm Wellensteigung) $102=800 (Schritte je mm bei 1/16 microstepping und 4mm Wellensteigung) $120 = 10.000 (x accel, mm/sec^2) $121 = 10.000 (y accel, mm/sec^2) $122 = 10.000 (z accel, mm/sec^2)
