Worked great converting a band saw from 3 phase to 2 phase. Lots of features you would expect from $1,000+ VFD's.

I just need it to run an old three-phase motor on a lathe. The lathe has a reversing function that activates with contactors. Once I got some help from the seller this VFD works fine. This VFD is complete overkill for what I need it to do and the default settings will not work with old 3 phase 220 volt systems like mine.I was given the following as test parameters. The first one I could not get to stick but the rest seemed to work and stay in memory.pn32=3 (default is 1 I believe)pn02=060.00(60 Hz is the frequency most of these old motors in the US are made for. 4000 is the default.)pn03=2pn04=1pn10=060.00 aka 60 Hz. (4000 is the default)pn12=060.00 (4000Hz is the default)I am not even sure what pn32 does but it would not stay set but the rest did and it worked though one of my solenoid buzzes a bit which is kinda annoying but at least it works.

Amazing product for the price. Zero issues, and have been using it daily since September 3, 2016, on an achilli bridge saw. When/if it fails it is easy to replace parts, compared to the brand that the saw came with, forcing me to replace the entire VFD cost $600.

I gave it a 5 star simply because it works great. It was quite difficult to get it this way. I base this on I have no experience with setting up a VFD. But it runs my 2hp Bridgeport motor perfectly. If there is one gripe I could have is I cant use the brake on the mill as it faults out the VFD. But, overall its fantastic.
