I have 3 cats, 2 large, 1 very petite. And one of the large ones loves to kick litter out of the box. This box meets the needs of all 3 cats, and me by helping keep the litter contained. It is a large box, big enough for my big cats. And the included step helps my petite cat get in. The high walls that attach to the box help keep the litter in the box, no matter how hard my cat tries to kick it out. Plus the step catches litter as well. This all helps you stretch your litter further by not wasting as much. The litter scoop included is also good. The wood handle is well sealed and comfortable to use. The tines on the scoop are a bit wider than others, so smaller clumps can fall through. The included scoop holder is another way to capture stray litter and help keep the area clean. One of the best things about this is that it is made of stainless steel. Stainless steel litter boxes are easier to keep clean and to clean, as litter doesn't stick as easily to it. They are also much less likely to hold smells. As cats scratch plastic litter boxes, the smells seep into the plastic and can become impossible to remove. The one thing that I don't like is how much the side walls angle into the pan at the top. This makes the box feel a little smaller, giving the cats a little less area to move around in. Overall, I would give this a 4.5 if I could. I highly recommend this litter box.
