Is it ok for metal heat treatment, if you put ceramic tray on the bottom?
If not, why?
Yes, a ceramic tray is physically fine to use, but it will change heat distribution. The bigger limitation is that this kiln is not designed for precise metal heat treatment, so results may be inconsistent even with proper setup.

Hi, can you do bisque firing with this kiln? Or does it have some issue with the firing speed and might it crack the clay?
Yes, it can be used. It allows for setting different temperatures in 1-9 sections, with each of the 9 sections set to maintain heat for 1 hour. This temperature control helps prevent the clay from cracking.
