The tray is made of polypropylene (PP), a lightweight yet rigid polymer that keeps the tray's weight low compared to the rest of the cart. Soil, fertilizer, compost, and wet organic matter fall cleanly off the tray during the dump cycle because the PP surface is smooth and has no pores or absorbent properties. This helps keep the tray surface clean. No need to scrub, use detergent, or spend extra time cleaning after emptying the tray; just run a straight hose rinse across it.
To empty this garden cart dump wagon, simply lift the handle once. This will initiate the 90° tipping action, turning the tray from a horizontal transport position to a full dumping angle. At 90°, the whole load slides off the PP tray face in one smooth motion. Wet soil, gravel, wood chips, and garden debris all slide off without the user having to push, shovel, or move the material around by hand to clear the tray completely.
Because the dump angle is controlled, the material being dumped remains within a defined area directly below and in front of the tray opening. It does not spread out or go in different directions like it would from a wheelbarrow that is tilted or a container that is tipped by hand. Under maximum load, PU wheels maintain their rolling profile on grass, compacted soil, gravel, mud, and paved surfaces without deflecting or losing ground-contact stability. This means that the loaded cart maintains stable movement across different surfaces.
The iron frame efficiently transfers the load to the wheel axles. It maintains its shape under heavy loads for extended periods, unlike lighter-gauge steel frames that bend or loosen after repeated maximum-load cycles. When fully assembled, the cart weighs 80.91 pounds (36.7 kg), which is enough to keep it stable while transporting heavy loads. It will not tip forward or sideways when stopping, turning, or changing directions on uneven ground.
The iron frame has a coating that prevents rust. This protects the steel substrate from humidity, rain, and chemicals from fertilizers and soil treatments that build up on yard tools used outside year-round. During outdoor use, the protective coating helps prevent rust from forming on welded joints and exposed surfaces.
The PU no-flat wheels do not need to be inflated, monitored for pressure, or fixed for punctures over the life of the cart. They provide reliable rolling performance without requiring inflation.
