Lower-quality diffuser materials turn yellow over time when exposed to UV light and heat from the LED strip. This degradation slows down light transfer and adds a yellow tint over time. You do not have to replace the cover to restore light quality, as the polycarbonate cover is designed to resist yellowing during normal use, keeping the light output neutral and clean for the life of the installation.

It is easy for beginner installers to follow the four-step process: use the included hardware to attach the mounting clips to the target surface, press the V-shaped channel body into the clips until it is secure, stick the LED strip along the inside of the channel using the strip's self-adhesive backing, and then press the milky PC cover into the opening until it snaps into the retention groove.
