VEVOR Japanese Tatami Mat, 80 x 39 in Foldable Handwoven Natural Rattan Tatami Mat, Non-Slip & Easily Cleaned Japanese Tatami Floor Mat, Summer Breathable Sleeping Mat for Meditation Yoga Relaxation

Fantastic mats. They look great, feel great, and they seem to hold up well so far.

Can smell the fresh grass off this tatami mat. Thickness is good and can relax on this over a tile floor normally. Like the size as well, large bodies fit well. Recommended for those who want the Japanese Tatami experience at home.

I got this single rush grass tatami mat as part of my experiment in how to sleep cooler. I dumped a queen size memory foam mattress, box springs, and metal bed frame. I bought separate pieces that I could play around with to see what worked for me. I started with a new queen size metal bed frame with a grid top, 2 separate coconut coir mattress pads that side-by-side fit a queen bed frame, a single shikifuton, and a foam mattress pad. From experimenting with different arrangements of these items I found what worked for me. I slept cooler and didn't wake up at night anymore because I was overheated. After two months, I decided to replace the single bed size items with items for a queen size bed. I made a couple of other changes as well. You can read more details about what I did in my review of the VEVOR queen size rush grass tatami mat, which got a four-star review.

About hair an inch thick, grass on top, cotton in the middle and polyester on the bottom. Bottom is NOT non-slip. Smells like grass, so you'll have to get used to it. Seems sturdy enough for the price. Not a bad deal. I recommend.
