The V-shape geometry positions the LED strip at a fixed diagonal angle rather than flat against the mounting surface. This mounting method directs light outward and downward from the corner mounting points. This is precisely what is needed for task lighting under cabinets, wardrobe interiors, bookshelf edges, and display case corners, where a flat-mounted strip would shine light into the viewer's eyes or miss the surface completely.
With 10 channels that are 6.6 feet (2 meters) long each, this v shape led aluminium profile provides 20 meters of total channel length per order. The consistent V geometry across all 10 channels ensures the light angle remains uniform throughout a long continuous run, producing even directional output from the first channel to the last.
The metal body is anodized, an electrochemical process that forms a durable, porous oxide coating on the surface. That layer makes the metal much more resistant to corrosion and scratches than untreated aluminum. The frosted silver finish gives it a clean, professional look that works well for showcasing in kitchens, living rooms, and stores without any extra surface finish.
The aluminum body transfers heat away from LED strips during operation, while the anodized finish provides surface protection against corrosion and scratches. If LED strips do not dissipate heat well, excess heat builds up, accelerating lumen loss and shortening the diode's life. During operation, the aluminum channel continuously dissipates heat from the strip, helping manage heat buildup and supporting more stable LED performance during extended use.
The polycarbonate cover is only 0.02 inches thick and has a milky, frosted surface that spreads light as it passes through. Scattered light from different LEDs combines into a smooth, even band of light with no hot spots at any position. The result is a smooth light line instead of a dotted strip. This is important in environments where optical quality is critical, such as shelf edges, mirror surrounds, and display case innards.
Polycarbonate provides a durable diffuser cover that helps protect the LED strip while maintaining light diffusion. Maintaining optical clarity over time also maintains diffusion quality without replacement. This means that light output remains the same throughout the life of the profile, without the gradual amber shift that occurs with cheaper cover materials.
The oxidation-resistant surface process keeps the material from breaking down in humid or hot areas. Moisture and temperature changes can damage LED profiles in places like kitchen cabinets, bathroom mirrors, and areas that are close to the outdoors. This occurs because painted surfaces can bubble and peel, and the base metal can rust.
The milky PC cover is just as durable. Due to its resistance to dust adhesion and water ingress, the cover stays clean and shiny with little upkeep. Wiping it down with a damp cloth will remove surface dirt without harming the frosted pattern. In contrast, an exposed LED strip would get dust on the diode surface, which would slowly reduce its output.
Each channel has end caps and mounting clips, so you do not have to look for other parts separately. This means you can complete the whole installation in one session. Install the channel, press in the LED strip, snap the cover into place, and fit the end caps. This simple installation process requires only a few steps. Beginners can do this, and the clip-based fastening means you do not need glue or screws that go straight into the channel body.
End caps keep the LED strip from rolling out at the end of a run and make each end of the installation look neat and finished. Without them, the inside of the channel and the strip wiring are still visible, which takes away from the profile's clean, linear look.
The 10-pack includes 6.6 ft (2 m) of each channel, enough for whole-room or multi-zone installations where one channel is not enough. Twenty linear meters cover a full kitchen perimeter, a complete wardrobe with multiple runs, a retail display wall with several shelf levels, or a combination of accent zones across one room—all from a single order at a consistent per-meter cost.
You can use a hand saw to cut the metal and PC cover to the right length if the full 2 m measurement is too long. With its V-shape geometry that makes it easy to mount in corners and at angles, this V shape LED aluminium profile is great for installers who need to work on more than one surface at the same time without having to place multiple orders.
The directional V-profile output works well in places where flat natural lighting is not enough. Under kitchen cabinets, it shines light onto the counter; inside wardrobes, it lights up the rails and shelves without blinding the person opening the door; and in display cases, it uses focused, angled light instead of flat diffusion to draw attention to items on each shelf.
Along skirting boards, behind beds, or along ceiling coving in the living room or bedroom, the V shaped LED aluminum profile creates indirect lighting that adds depth without putting the strip in the line of sight. The milky cover and frosted silver finish go with both modern and traditional interiors.
