These polystyrene tiles were all I could get a hold of because the pvc ones were sold out. I was a bit concerned about the negative reviews, but I thought I’d try them any way. Polystyrene tiles always require a little more work because they are quite squidgy and there’s no overlap to hide the join, but I tell you what theses ones are so easy to work with. The ceiling isn’t fully finished and I haven’t filled the joins yet, but a bit of caulk on the joins and the ceiling will look flawless. I personally think they are pretty good for the price and material. These are polystyrene so the sides are not perfect but they never will be 100%. Caulk and a couple of coats of matte emulsion and you will never tell the difference.
