If you are not willing to use all the extensions it is a very good product . I needed a door to prevent a dog from the stairs . Because of the width of the stairs it required all the extensions, that makes the door stable but not too much reliable. So if someone slips at the stairs and try to hold from the door I don’t believe that it will remain at the position

Have bought Vevor products before and they were great, but this is very poorly designed. Got it, returning it immediately. It is supposed to be expandable up to 48 inches. What they did not tell you in the description was that they include extensions that are all 7" - nothing in a different size - so the reality is that if your door isn't slightly smaller than 23", 30", 37" or 48" there is no way to install it - it's either WAY too big or WAY too small. Also, the instructions say not to remove the zip tie holding the gate together or it's difficult to install...but the zip tie was so loose it immediately slid down when removed from the box. Very disappointing. Oh, and it's also pretty wobby.
