My fellow is really persnickety and has high standards and he loves to make homemade French fries because his is so much better then the fast food drive-ins. When we received the heavy package (which indicated very little plastic) he was inspired. He immediately turned on our fryer and put together the sturdy slicer (which took minutes) and he loved how fast the cutter produced perfect sticks (he soaked the potatoes' for a few minutes and patted them dry) and we snacked on "evenly cooked fries" a few minutes later. He's happy for sure which makes me happy too!

this thing cuts regular potatoes and sweet potatoes with ease

But I was looking at purchasing this product. I looked at the manual option as well as the electronic option. I could not be happier that I selected the electronic option. I use this for potatoes and all other types of veggies. It does an outstanding job and is super easy to clean up!

Great unit,solid build very simple to use and clean up is super easy. Would recommend this for anyone wanting it for home use or even commercially. Would buy this unit again but I'm pretty sure I won't have to. We'll built should last a very long time.
