I bought these torsion springs for my maybe 3m x 2.5m Crawford-brand garage door from 1980's or maybe 1990's, which had it's original springs all messed up since forever, and very heavy to open. Original / almost similar springs would have cost from 800-1000e / pair from Finland so I decided to give these Vevor universal springs a chance. I checked all around the internet for how thick wire and how long springs would be suitable for my door, and decided to order like 4 inches longer springs because why not, better that way. The shaft on my garage door was the same diameter as the spring ends on these have, I just had to make some modifications to the original Crawford-spring ends so I could adapt these springs to fit them. Also, I had to install these new springs basically mirrored when compared to originals, but after all trial and error, I got everything to work and now the door works better than it had ever worked. Before installation, I sprayed some PTFE-lubricant spray and twisted the springs to get the lubricant inbetween the coils, just to make less friction and hopefully to lenghten the lifespan of these springs, of course wiping the lubricant from the insides and outsides of the coils to not make surface sticky and attract dust etc dirt. All and all, I have been very satisfied with the springs and can recommend 5/5.

I bought a pair of torsion springs for the VEVOR garage door, measuring 0.207 x 2 x 24 inches with winding rods. I took measurements from the old one and ordered it. Considering the price, it's quite okay. I had to watch some YouTube videos because this replacement job isn't easy. It came with the spring tightening rods, and you have to be careful with that so it doesn't slip and hit your head. It's been in use for two weeks and still works. The old one lasted 25 years, so we'll see how long these last.
