This purchase had nothing to do with the intended purpose of this product. This is a carpet protector. Keep telling yourself that and you will miss out on some of the benefits. I used it first to cut mask a project while cutting a groove in it so that I could spray paint only the groove. Perfect solution! Since then, I have used it to protect a surface so I could paint an unrelated item without worry.
It's thick enough to be durable, flexible enough to take on contours, and stretchy enough to cover tightly. Someday I will try it to cover an area of carpet. But, not today! I'm too busy inventing other ways to use it!
