First off, I actually like this cabinet: it fits nicely in the corner of my work office, it is sturdy enough for what I wanted it for, and I like that it locks. That is the good news, actually putting it together was the bad news. Basically, assembling this was not fun, especially for someone like me with arthritis in their hands -- and definitely plan on needing an electric screwdriver, rather than using the cheap plastic one it came with (which had the plastic separate from the metal center when I tried applying any force with it). The issues I have with assembly: it is awkward and you will likely need someone to help you hold things at least long enough to get the first few pieces together, the metal is sharp (especially the protective metal brackets at the top and bottom of the box) and I can testify from experience that it is very easy to cut yourself on, the instructions are...not good, the metal is easily bent and likely will arrive bent (but fortunately bends easily enough to bend back into place, though you may end up with a few creases in the paint as I did), and finally just getting everything lined up and attached to each other took way more time than it should have. Essentially, plan on needing a helper and over an hour to get it assembled. Once assembled, it actually isn't bad at all, though I did have to touch up a couple of spots in the finish on the corners with a paint pin. So, now that it is together and in place, I actually am pretty satisfied with the final result....but the comments I was making to myself while putting it together shouldn't be repeated in a review.
