In the picture it looks like the pump only has a 1/4" inlet port, but the specification says it also has 3/8", is the picture wrong?

It can run continuously for 2-8 hours. This pump has overheating protection. You need to pay attention to the oil amount during long-term operation.

Hi, I’ve only used my vacuum pump four times, and it seems like vapor or mist is coming out of the exhaust port. Is this normal? Everything has been done according to the manual, including filling the pump with the correct oil. Or do I need to send the pump in for repair? It is still under warranty.

This is a normal occurrence. First, make sure the oil level is at the midpoint on the oil sight glass to ensure there is sufficient oil in the pump. Then, when the pump is running, the air it draws in will be expelled through the filter on top of the oil tank, creating oil mist. This is a normal phenomenon.
