Thank you for your inquiry. Changing only the focal lens to a 2.5-inch or 4-inch lens will not significantly increase the maximum acrylic cutting thickness. The cutting capacity is primarily determined by the laser tube power. Since this machine uses a 130 W laser tube with a standard 2-inch (50.8 mm) focal lens, simply replacing the lens will not enable it to cut substantially thicker acrylic.
