Hi, is it possible to remove the feet and the wheels to have it flat on the drawer in my truckbed?

Is the lid insulated beyond just an air gap? The Fridge and Freezer seem to be working great (running them plugged into a wall for the past week). I noticed the top of the fridge is cooler than the sides which made me wonder if the insulation on the top is different than the sides or if the top has insulation beyond the air gap.
