Hi, can the blocks be locked on the rail to stop sliding if needed?
Also, what is the dimension of the thread on the block?

Thread Size: The mounting holes on standard HSR15 square bearing blocks use M5 metric threads (M5 x 0.8 mm pitch).
Mounting Setup: These threaded holes allow you to securely bolt your plates, CNC routers, or machinery components directly onto the top of the carriage.

1. Locking the Blocks on the Rail
Standard Functionality: The included square bearing blocks are standard free-sliding carriages designed for low-friction, high-precision motion. They do not include an integrated locking mechanism or brake thumb-screw.
Alternative Option: To stop or hold the carriage at a specific position along the rail, you can install an external aftermarket shaft collar, a rail clamp/brake block, or apply a custom locking screw setup against the rail.
