Can this heater be left outside the van at night in the winter, or does it need to be inside (with the exhaust pipe going out of course)?
The heater can be placed outside the vehicle, but it needs to be waterproofed and ventilated. The display screen can be extended into the vehicle.

Can it be run on diesel with bio-additives (B7) that is available on every gas station in EU, or does it need clean diesel?
Is the exhaust through the bottom of the unit ?
I bought this heater, but I want it to be able to turn on and off by itself on the thermostat, which I have read is not possible, but is it possible to buy a different type of controller so that it is possible?
Unfortunately, this heater cannot achieve the automatic on/off function by replacing the controller. The controller cannot be changed to enable this feature.
