My planers indeed and outfeed tables are not level, the adjustment screws only effect the outer portion but the section next to the planer is way low, how can this be adjusted

Please adjust the front and rear extension workbench, adjust the fixing nut on the top of the support frame, place it on the workbench and the extension table with a level ruler, loosen the nut and then adjust the height of the extension plate until it is at the same level as the workbench and fix the nut.

What is the exact procedure for changing the cutting speed (on the 2 speed planer)? Should the machine be on or off when making the speed changes?
