Could you please clarify the electrical connections for the VBPYCE-110 pool heat pump? Regarding the dry contact / water pump connection: is it an output from the heat pump to control the pool pump, or an input that must receive a signal from the pump or external controller? Please also provide the wiring diagram for this model.

The water pump does not require a separate power supply and can be connected to the heat pump. The heat pump wiring connection has a dedicated port for the water pump. Note that if the water pump is connected to the heat pump, the water pump's current must not exceed 5A.
