Hi, I am interested in your Shallow Well pump with pressure tank. Does the pump have to be filled with water every time it is used or is it a once primed it continues to start and stop when powered up?

If you add a one-way valve to the water inlet, you don't need to fill it with water before each use. If not, you will need to add water. After powering on, it will start and stop automatically according to the pressure.

Will this pump automatically turn on, when water is needed, or are you supposed to turn on/off every time?

This product controls the automatic start and stop of the product through the pressure in the pump. If the indoor pipeline is fixed and installed, when the faucet at the water outlet is opened, the pump will automatically start; when the faucet is closed, the pump will automatically shut down. No need to plug and unplug every time.
