Any project that requires custom angles, this is better than a rental. The 9\" is forgiving for specific angles as opposed to the 14\"-16\" commercial units. 1/3 of the weight, easier to move. The pump feature is poorly engineered. I plan on posting video how I engineered a better solution for this unit to be more efficient.

Perfect thick porcelain cutting tool for paving stones. The water pump needs to be connected separately, which is a bit cumbersome, but manageable. The positive aspect is that you can cut a lot with a bucket of water, and the cutter is mobile, so you don't have to run to the table wet cutter.

Big heavy concrete saw. Pretty powerfull>
Only used it to make some test cuts but it seems to perform pretty well.
I did modify the water connection in order to be able to hook it up to a regular garden hose, which is a lot easier than the little foutain pump that was included in the shipping.
All and all for the price I'm happy with my purchase.
