On first time it did not work, totally dead. As it is a straight forward piece, screwed together it was easy to open and check. It turned out to be the screw joint for the wires that was not properly tightned (!). Easy fix and it works now well. Nice, light and handy, will be interesting how long it lasts - and how to get a spare bulb..
