We had a lot of fun, suprised at how well it worked. That being said I am not much of a pilot lol. Good times though. Then I crashed it into a tree and it is still stuck lol. For the price it's ok it was worth the memories.

It’s of good quality, powerful, easy to fly, and durable against falls. It also comes with plenty of backup parts, so there’s no need to worry about breakage. However, the major drawback is the poorly written manual, which makes installation and learning how to use the remote control challenging—you’ll need to figure it out on your own. Despite this, the remote control range is decent, and overall, it works well.

I got the amphibious model. It is trickier to fly than my first plane with the extra control channel so I am going to need more practice. I have successfully taken off from water but splashed it after that. Nothing about the motors looks like they're waterproof but it sat in my brackish bayou upside down for several minutes while I retrieved it with a kayak twice. After sitting a few weeks it still works too. The third channel is tricky for me as a beginner flier so I am going to need to practice some more to master this one, it isn't quite as easy as I expected. The only thing I don't like, and this is partly my error, is that I thought it had gear for landing on land as well. It does not. I plan to take it to a local park for some out of water practice but will have to make sure to find a soft spot to land it.

How cool are these drones, planes, and helicopters getting?? It's unbelievable how they are able to design these like they do and to see them actually working is so cool. Now I haven't been able to master flying these but my boys and their dad have an absolute blast learning how to get it into the air and be able to maintain and balance the wings of the plane without a total crash and burn! The design of this plane is pretty cool and very reminiscent of those old timey planes that were first flown. The controller is fairly easy to use and they were able to pick up on what buttons to push and when to push them! It's quite durable as well bc each time my little one has lost control, I hold my breath a little worried that was it's just time in the air but each time I am stunned to see he can pick it up and get it right back into the air. Very high quality and definitely age appropriate with this model bc it wasn't too difficult to fly. I think it is fairly priced and with time, my kid will be able to master it and learn some tricks along the way. It's definitely a fun toy (for his daddy too) and worth every penny! Highly recommend

I bought this as a birthday present for my 11 year old grandson. He'd had a similar (white) one that was lost when a strong wind took it out of sight and range. This one being yellow is much easier to see at a distance, has a larger battery, and is more powerful and maneuverable than the previous one, with an advanced and learner mode. He was soon doing loops and rolls in the advanced mode - and it has the ability to quickly switch back to the learner mode if you start to lose control.

This is airplane is the benchmark for affordable entry level RC Jet airplanes. 4 channels of control, a superb stabilization and gyro system, and a unique combination of differential thrust vectoring plus elevon control that allows for an incredibly low stall speed and very strong command in turns... Wow! Just wow! Seriously, WLtoys has knocked it out of the park with the XK A100. It's so easy to fly. It turns on a dime, and you can stall the wing hard without falling out of the sky if you're on the throttle and use lots of rudder. See, the two little motors in the wing add thrust when you add rudder input, so at the moment of a tip stall in a 180⁰ snap turn, if you've got the throttle up full and hard left or right rudder, the extra thrust keeps the plane floating. It's as light as a feather too, so if you turn into the wind like that... you can float up like a helicopter without moving forward... or even backwards! Take a close look at the pictures they provide, and mine too. You'll notice that each side of the elevator has its own servo. That means that this plane actually has 4 channels; 1 throttle from the two little motors, 2 rudder - also from the two little motors, 3 elevator and 4 ailerons are combined in the tail feathers and are called elevons. Cool beans. WLtoys really knows how to make a high quality toy at a very affordable price. It has only a couple of drawbacks, and they're minor. 1 - small battery. 300mah only flys this bird for about 7 mins, so even though you get two, I recommend also getting a 5 pack of 420mah plus a charger set. They're cheap. Order together. That'll increase flight times to about 10 minutes, and 5 of those plus the 2 it comes with is enough flight time to get tired of standing in one place. The other drawback is the short range. They only go about two football fields away before you're at the end of the range bubble. It's a small plane, so unless you've got eyes like an eagle you'll want to keep the plane real

I wish I had a video of it flying, but I was too busy keeping it in the air every time to take out my phone! I'm removing a star for the poor instructions and lack of age information on the box- I initially got this because I wanted to try it with my nephew on his birthday and it was a little bit above him but I really really was impressed with it. I had a similar one a long time ago but the landing wheels broke after the second flight and it wasn't worth sourcing a replacement. What I LOVE about this one is that it comes with a lot of additional spare parts, landing wheels, propellers, etc, and they all seem to be designed to \"breakaway\" upon landing so that you can easily reattach instead of it becoming useless after the first hard landing. And if you lose a wheel or prop, you have spares! They literally just snap back on. Just remember to launch it by throwing it and not by trying to lift off- it says so in the instructions, but they weren't clear so we did waste our first 2 flights having it nose dive into the asphalt instead of taking off. But if you throw it while someone else holds the controller, it does great. And once it is in the air, it's beautiful! Flight time isn't long, but thankfully it comes with a spare battery so you can keep it charged and maybe even charging in your car while the using the other, adding to flight time. All in all, I would recommend it despite the caveats.

The Vevor RC Plane is a lightweight styrofoam plane that is easy to fly with the included remote control. It comes with 2 batteries, but you should get more. You get a decent amount of fly time, but the batteries are small, and they take some time to charge. If you're flying this with the kids, they aren't going to want to stop anytime soon. The kit comes with everything you need to get off the ground (heh) and I found it very easy to learn. It's not a fast plane, but it needs room and probably isn't appropriate for indoor use unless you have a huge hallway. Take it outside and have a blast.

The plane flies nicely once assembled, but assembly is a problem. The kit appears to be part of a series, and the instructions included are generalized for the series and not this plane model. For example, the kit come with multiple screws of varying length, but all have the same threading. The instructions do not tell you which size screw goes where on the model. Thus, you must suffer through some trial and error to figure out which screw was intended to use in which spot. Once assembled, this little puppy has some serious power. I was not expecting it to fly as fast as it does. It is mostly made of Styrofoam which means that it is extremely light weight, and this highly susceptible to wind conditions. The really good news, it all the parts that can be damaged in a crash are breakaway, and they include ample extras to deal with major crashes. There were 6 extra propellers and 3 landing gear wheels so it's a quick change and then back in the air. The kit comes with two batteries which are a must have since the airborne battery life appears to be between 8-10 minutes which is the one major drawback to me. As provided, this means between 16 & 20 minutes of use time before it is time to turn around and head home. Recommend for beginners, intermediate and expert users should look elsewhere.

I've never owned an RC plane before but have flown drones. This flies nothing like a drone but it has a learning curve that is slightly easier than a drone. The controls are intuitive and follow common sense. If you can drive an RC car you can fly this with ease. The body of the plane is very light so even a slight breeze will throw off flying and require micro movements. After flying with this for 5 minutes I was able to keep it flying without issue for 10 more minutes before it became erratic so I landed it. Overall, this is a very fun RC plane. I think for the price you get what you pay for. It requires patience and understanding. Once you do get the hang of it, it is quite fun. The charging time seemed to be around 4 hours for a full charge. It wasn't a quick charge by any means. I am very happy with this however.
