Highly recommend purchasing one of these axle stands. I rebuild classic cars as a hobby and when you have a single post lift like i do, or a very large trolley jack.. then this is a must have, as long as you're lifting the car above this axle stands minimum height! very sturdy and strong, which i have no complaints about and most of all, it's a very well made item which is well worth the price! if it was double the price, i would've paid knowing how good quality it is.

Cannot be beaten for the money, much better than Sumner and only one on a par with them is D&B, but they're 20% dearer.

Do exactly what I need them to do will buy at least 2 more as well. Work with a lot of pipe and they work perfect

Pretty solid unit

I have been in welding and fabrication for over 30 years and have used many types of pipe stands over the years and most are very light and flimsy. These are very heavy duty from the v head to the pipe insert to the stand itself. The price was less then the thin cheap ones I could get at my local store.

The claimed weight capacity(over 3 tons !) seems ridiculous until you see the item. Well made ,well designed ,simple to use. The unit is very stable due to it's weight and wide stance. I have some cheapo stands and they are dangerous because they are easily tipped over when maneuvering a heavy pipe or beam. There is only one location hole in the silver colored inner pipe. For my application I may need to drill an additional hole to achieve the adjustment to the height that I need. Yes that may weaken it but I'll only be using maybe 10% of the load capacity. The packaging is grossly inadequate. It arrived with the box disintegrated and repaired by FedEx. Thanks FedEx !

I worked as a pipe welder and pipefitter for a number of years however now I am retired. I have a very nice welding shop in my garage and now I can do the things that I want to. I have a Ridgid pipe stand and this is every bit as good as the rigid if not better. Very impressed.
