Heavy duty adjustable I-beam trolley! Great purchase!

It's well built but I was misled by the description It shows a picture that just says adjustable. It looked like it would fit my Titan Gander 1000lbs capacity. It was way too big to fit. I ordered another from the same company with the dimensions described . The company did give me a partial refund for the first one.

This item was used for a common house supporting beam that is in my garage. Turns out the trolley will barely fit the beam. Be sure your beam is not too wide to fit between the roller flanges. Also, the through shaft that holds the halves together and the hook-eye, includes two nuts you lock together (I used Loctite red on them as well), instead of the self locking castle nut shown.Overall, the unit is substantial and I would expect it to hole a ton as rated. But note that the beam has to be able to support a full ton on its flange or you risk serious injury. I did not receive any installation information and the box looked opened and re-taped, although it may have simply been taped due to the weight of the object All parts were included.I am using it with a 1-ton chain hoist.As a one ton beam trolley, I would recommend it as long as the safety rules are followed. I do not consider it "heavy duty".

Hang around for this,this is perfect for hanging chain hoists etc for pulling engines, beware it doenst have any locking device so once it starts rolling it doesnt stop. This works well.

Everyone has a metal I-Beam in their basement...well i put mine to good use. I have a heavy punching bag that has this big awkward stand that was always in the way! Now i can roll the bag out of the way and bring it out when i want to let off some steam. The adjustability lets it fit many different sized beams, so you dont have to worry about that

I bought 2 of these, they are great quality and work as described. I have them on a I beam in the garage.
