This is a very heavy duty 3 ton hoist. Much better than a come a long. I feel safe using it. It is worth it to get the 20 foot chain model.

This was a gift item and the recipient is thoroughly thrilled about. I have nothing to say as regards durability cos I just got the product. With time I might know more about its durability.

Chain hoist worked as expected, only drawback that I didnt consider is the ratio of the pull to arm movement. I have smaller (1ton) hoists that essentially are for every pull of the arm you get about 1" of chain pull up. For this unit, and after thinking it through made perfect sense that to get 1" of chain pull is about 4x arm movements.Other than that the 20ft chain was great - much better than having to constantly reset the pull like my other small hoist that only had a 6ft chain.

Used it to pull Chelsea's on car and straighten frame it's a awesome piece of machinery are wood said tools
