I am a CNC prototyping machinist who has tapped more than 60,000 holes. When it came time for a new set to use at home, I studied sets every night for a week. I wanted to buy a set of the type taps used in CNC machines but discovered none to be available with the correct tap geometry. The $800 sets were close but I couldn't justify spending that much and not getting exactly what I wanted so I began reviewing less expensive sets. I reviewed them all. This set is by far the best value. I've only had it for a week but I have already used it 50+ times with all good results. I am replacing my old $300 set because it rusted.

This tape and die are very well made and strong, working well taping and cutting the thread. Well worth the money excellent kit , very well laid out in a good strong box. Very pleased with the purchase.

Great quality for good price. Could use a higher quality carrier box.

Not used it at the moment, bought for 'Future reference'Having used other Tap and Dies a long time ago, I was pleased with the apparent sturdiness. They were not expensive but for the occasional user they are ideal. Not for the serious engineer but well worth it.

I liked the value for what I paid, the only thing I would do differently is to make the dies more accessible by reconfiguring how they are presented for use out of the tool box they came in.

So far. This product is ok .works for the light jobs I need it for . Yes . I would recommend it to others .

Good so far. All the pieces were present. On of the dies falls out of the case and doesn't fit right but other than that, it is a very complete set with lots of sizes that should cover everything I might need. I will update if I have any issues.
