After purchasing I read some more reviews and saw videos of somebody was complaining about excessive smoke. I did not find this to be the case. The only issue I had was figuring out the controller and there are lots of great videos on YouTube. I used my unit for a rooftop tent so I extended the thermostat wires so I could put it inside the tent. With the unit placed under my trailer it was very minimal noise.

Nach dem unboxing war ich zunächst etwas skeptisch. Das Gerät macht einen etwas klapprigen Eindruck. Anleitung aufgeschlagen und festgestellt, dass der Verfasser sich ohne Zweifel ein Übersetzungsprogramm zu Hilfe genommen hat um ins englische zu übersetzen.Egal, mit einem technischen Basiswissen lässt sich das Gerät recht schnell zusammenstecken und es war im Hand umdrehen betriebsklar. Schnell einen Schluck Diesel in den integrierten Tank gefüllt und ans 12V Netzteil (nicht im Lieferumfang) angeschlossen.Nachdem das Bedienteil/Display seinen Dienst aufgenommen hat, ging das Rätselraten los. Wieder Handbuch aufgeschlagen und festegestellt, dass mir dieses nicht wirklich hilft. Also war ausprobieren angesagt. Nachdem ich begriffen hatte, dass der Pfeil nach rechts, entgegen meinem Verständnis, herunterregelt und nach links hochregelt, konnte es recht schnell losgehen und die Heizung fuhr hoch und, mal glaube es kaum, auch zündete. Ein paar Minuten später kam ordentlich heisse Luft aus dem mitgelieferten, aber sehr kurzen Lüfterschlauch.Kurzum:Etwas unlogische Steuerung, aber das Gerät tut was es soll - Heizen, und das wirklich gut!

Seems well made and really puts out the heat. I turned it into a portable heater for camping. To install in a vehicle or trailer would entail quite a bit of work inn order to mount the tank, run a source of outside combustion air and route a hot exhaust to the outside of a vehicle. It also puff clack smoke when it gets going so there's that...

have ran the heater for about 6 hours now on kerosene. burns well at about 80% setting much over that and it runs rich and produces carbon monoxide. it produces decent heat and good air output. not 8kw mind. its the same size as a 5kw heater and it probably produces about the same as 5kw heaters.

Wer mehr über solche " Chinaböller " wissen möchte findet bei Youtub reichlich Stoff. Ich beheize damit meinen Wintergarten und komme locker auf 23 Grad. Gut Diesel ist momentan auch nicht günstig, aber ich würde es wieder tun :-)

Installation was interesting but that's on me not the unit. Have been enjoying the heat in my overland setup in the Jeep since.

The remote control does not appear to respond to the temperature adjustments

Perfect for Ice fishing and camping. Used it all winter. Have not had any issues yet. Could be little noisy for some people. I did some mods to make it quieter. Way better than propane heaters.

This heater works like a dream. No more cold nigh, only struggle will be leaving your tent in the morning to venture back into the cold.My only complaint is the lid leaks fluid, the less fuel you keep in the heater when traveling the better or the lid needs a better seal.
