Was skeptical as there is about a 50/50 ratio when it comes to the overall rating given by people in regards to these cheap Chinese diesel heaters.. and I see now that most negative reviews and issues reported were simple from those that had little to no mechanical knowledge and/or expected wayyyyy to much for the item and it_ price tag. I have a webasto unit that goes for about $1000-$1500 and this heater does exactly what my high end one does but at 1/12 the price so that being said don_ buy a cheap Chinese knock off heater for a low price and expect the same quality or plug and play as a webasto. The instructions while technically _nglish will make your brain hurt trying to decipher what it means. Simply watch YouTube and there is one video _hinese diesel heater remote that tells you how to configure the remote to the unit. I watched it and in five seconds had it connected, added diesel and manually purged the fuel pump to remove any air in the fuel lines just like the YouTube video said and it was up and working in about 15mins out of the box. The first 2-3 uses it did produce a very mild order which is normal when _reaking in things like this. After making sure it worked I then proceeded to open the unit and redue the fuel lines as like some negative reviews on other items saying the fuel lines were cramped/linked and while my unit did work out of the box I wanted piece of mind and went to Napa and redid the fuel line seen in my picture with the clear line on the bottom rear. Next I cut a piece of spare leftover rubber fuel line and tucked in into the whole where the power wire enters as it has no grommets and if moved around a lot would probably cut into the wires insulation so I used it like wire loom as added protection. After that I welded and attached it to a metal frame as I_l be moving mine a lot and didn_ want to bent and ruin the leg part of the box and it also added a way to hold my exhaust upright for when camping. I used a tripod used to hold a house roof antenna and carry with me in my truck a 10ft metal pipe and attach to the tripod and exhaust so that the exhaust fumes go up into the air way above my tent/truck so I don_ have to ever smell or worry about exhaust fumes, tripod holes it great even in the wind. This isn_ just a plug and play thing, wherever you install it you need most likely a drill, hole saw and other tools, you_l need to prime it, need to know basic 12v wiring and watch a few videos and you_l be super happy if you release you_e buying a cheaper version of a expensive item. I am already going to buy at least 2 or 3 more for my moms Rv, my bus, and my shop. I can buy like a total of 6 of these for what my single webasto cost. The remote is awesome glad I didn_ get the version with the remote containing only buttons, the lcd screen is pretty neat and works great for 25ft haven_ tried further.Only negative I can think of, but isn_ even a big deal to me is that the main units display has angles where it_ easily read
