Firstly, this heater performed as advertised and maybe a little better. However, because this (3KW) heater was to physically large and provided much more heat than needed, on all but the coldest nights (small Chevy Astro camper van), I exchanged it for a 2KW. (Happybuy provided a no hassle and prompt return/exchange.)Having said that, in the short time I used this heater it worked as advertised. Depending on the location for setup, andand one's sensitivity to noise, you can hear it operate. The unit itself makes little to no noise. The small amount of noise comes from the fuel pump and outside exhaust. To me, it was "white noise" and did not inhibit my sleep at all. Obviously, the closer you are the louder it becomes.Installation includes the need to fasten the unit to the floor and drill 2 holes (about 1.1" or so) in order to vent the exhaust and provide cold air intake. That's about it. Make sure the heat vents face the direction that provides the most efficient heating.Fuel consumption is absolutely minimum. Obviously, it depends on the size/insulation of your vehicle, outside temperature and your personal preference for warmth, but in my case I'll only be running it at night (approximately 8hrs) and I project a 15L tank to last from 5 to 8 days in all but the coldest conditions. (To this point I can detect no odor of raw diesel when running, and only slightly when I fill the tank.)Check things out on YouTube.
