I bought this to work on my BMW but the struts on my BMW have little tabs. So it doesn't really fit them, but I can use it for the struts from my F-150. You just need to look at your struts and if they have tabs they might not be able to clamp the strut. Other than that this tool works great. It's easy to compress the springs and release the springs.

Tr_ bon produit au vu du prix, j'ai juste du changer la vis et boulon servant fixer la cha?ne de s_urit, _onnamment mal _udi_, car juste cinq millim_re de longueur de plus pour la vis et ?a aurait alors suffit, .donc juste se fendre de quelques centimes d'euros pour changer cela et c'est tout bon.

This unit saves time. Easy to use and comes mostly assembled. I changed some of the hardware as I thought a few of the bolts were too low a strength. It needs to be mounted to something to be stable.

Che dire sicuramente non un prodotto professionale, in alcune cose si pu migliorare e lo si pu fare da se , comunque lo reputo valido si lavora in sicurezza con molle di auto utilitarie io ho smontato gli ammortizzatori di una lancia musa, vedremo come si comporter, (soprattutto la tenuta del cilindro) con molle pi impegnative.

So the tool itself is great for the price, however the chain they provide to hold the strut does not hold the strut very well. I had to use a heavy duty ratchet strap to hold the strut to the spring compressor. Only other thing I can say is I wish the chain and the base gets redesigned or added to, when you put the heavy strut on the strut compressor will start to lean forward and not stay straight. All in all it was a nice tool especially at the price and I was able to do the Struts on my Subaru. Once i got the ratchet strap on their I flew through the 4 struts in about 45 minutes.
