I love that it comes with- not only instructions- but the various screws to attach to different types of surfaces

Rail is very sturdy and well made; commercial duty, really. The finish is thick and seems very well applied. Might be powder-coated. The attachment points are heavy gauge metal disks each with three screw holes. When attached to studs, it is very strong.

Product seems sturdy and just as described.

So this rail is solid and sturdy and once installed is great HOWEVER the problem is the screws and bolts/mollies they send with it are not sufficient to install. The screws to attached the rail to the bracket are only 1/2 and you need 3/4. So after my first trip to the DIY store and an additional $5 in supplies I was able to put the rail together. Now i go to install...pre drill the holes to insert the mollies, remove the bolts get the rail up and when you try to put the bolts in they are too short as well and the washers they include are too small and pull right through the holes on the brackets. So i go back to to the DIY store to purchase longer bolts and bigger washers another $8 in supplies!So if you_e ok spending extra when you receive it for the proper hardware...it_ great!I will say I contacted the seller after the first trip to the DIY store and they refunded me the $5 Fir my additional purchase which was nice! Wondering if they will do the same with the other $8 i had to spend?They REALLY need to go back and provide the proper hardware for this product. If they do this I would give it a 5 star rating!UPDATE: the company refunded the additional amount that i had to spend in supplies to get this thing attached to the wall!So I_ bumping this up from 3 stars to 4. Now I just hope they make it right...check their hardware and send out a complete and useful kit so others don_ have to make two trips to the DIY store to install this railing!

We needed to add a rail so that my aging parents could better climb the stairs when they visited. This rail is well made. It is a thick, metal pipe with fitted ends. All of the materials to install it to the wall were included (screws, wall anchors). The paint has a nice glossy finish to it and looks easy to maintain with just a simple wipe down. I am impressed with how sturdy this rail is after installing it. We couldn_ be more pleased! It is a great value for the money and exceeded my expectations!

It was bought silver we painted it white without any issues. Easy to install and sturdy.

This is a nice railing for our stairway. My only complaint is that nowhere in the description does it tell you it comes with brackets. We bought brackets because it didn't say and now we don't need them. Otherwise installation was fairly easy and it seems pretty sturdy.
