This works great I am a millerite at planer use this all the time the 20 chain is just what I needed

Have trouble getting it to freewheel. Keeps catching but the hoist works great otherwise.

Habe mit dem Kettenzug 30 Hecken rausgezogen die schon _er 20 Jahre gewachsen waren...war kein Problem ? nur die Verpackung war nicht wirklich neuwertig auch der Kettenzug sah bereits gebraucht aus...somit ein Punkt abzug

Built like a tank. I use it mostly in place of a winch ( moving boulders around, torquing tree tops to insure directionality of fall and preventing choking of the saw blade, etc..). The great thing about a chain winch is that it is self centering and does not have a spool, unlike cable winches that often bunch up in a given area of the spool and jam the winch. The product also has a great gear ratio, which allows you to easily ratchet at the maximum rated capacity.

This is an amazing product. The quality is exceptional. My home faced a severe wind storm taking down mature trees and tractor equipment couldn_ get into the back yard. This block chain hoist was used to pull and manipulate fallen trees so that they could be safely removed. It has about a perfect leverage ratio for work within its weight limit rating. The ratchet mechanism is solid and reliable.

For the money spent I wasn't expecting a lot. When it arrived I was very pleased, and truthfully shocked on how well built it appeared to be. It's a beast and it performed as I expected after seeing,and holding it
