I bought this hoist to lift a sailboat off of the trailer. It worked perfectly! It did have a black oxide chain and it was oily, but that's not an issue for me. It's well worth the price and well suits my needs.C. Bennett

Handy tool for moving heavy things.
Nice long chain. I used it as a come along. Much stronger and you get a long pull before having to readjust for more length. The only better tool would be a motorized winch.

Hoist was heavier than I expected, but worked well for my need. I was able to move a hot tub to elevated deck using the hoist without any issues.
