Fantastic for degassing wine, highly recommended. Had some difficulty getting more vacuum pump oil until I realised milking machine vacuum oil works perfectly in it.

+ The Vacuum Chamber kit was delivered pretty quickly before Christmas + Everything in the box is as described - When turned ON, there is an oil leakage from the bigger blue cap on top. (the oil level is slightly below max)

All good easy to set up, no oil for the pump had to track down a local supply (with advice) I used Hydraulic 32 its the same viscosity as vacuum oil. Enjoy

First time I have purchased anything from Vevor and I have to say that I will definitely be ordering again. The Pump arrived in good time and the build quality is fantastic. I bought this to stabilize wood with Acrylic and it works a treat. Make sure you snip the top off the little rubber nipple at the top of the Guage as the instructions show and fill with oil before use. I had a couple of questions that I submitted to Vevor before the purchase and they were answered quickly and positively, thanks Vevor

Super good product. Strong pump. Some what week seal on the Vacuum chamber but not a major problem. I just glue it in place with some super glue.

`Just received the pump, assembled it in one minute by hand (no tools or lube, so probably not a perfect seal), read the warnings, and turned it on. The pump is very quiet, beyond what I expected. It pulled the 3gallon chamber to -0.95 bar in about 30-40 seconds, enough to destroy a small balloon I accidentally left in the chamber. :) The pump produces some vapor (it isn't really smoke I think) past -0.5 bar, but from what I read this is normal behavior. It holds the vacuum impressively well. Remarks: 1. The oil in the pump was at min-level, so I had to add most of the extra bottle to get it to almost max. 2. The pressure gauge wasn't entirely filled with glycerin (not sure whether that is a quality issue, but still). 3. There are no 'convenient' handles on my 3gallon chamber, it's just a pot.

Easy to use and does the job well. Been using it for removing bubbles in plastisol mainly. Good price to.

Contrary to a previous review this item was simple to assemble, had oil to fill the chamber and came with a moulded UK plug. Having tested it with water, soapy water and soda water it pulls to -1 bar with no real effort. At -1 bar the pump housing smoked but that may well be because it is new, the housing although warm remained touchable and with the valves closed and pump off vacuum was held for the several minutes I allowed it to before opening the inlet valve. For the price I reckon it's going to be a pretty useful tool for degassing silicone and epoxy.

I got this for degassing investment casting powder. I have had vacuum chambers made for that which cost over a thousand pounds in the past. This kit does the same job perfectly. It is also a lot quieter than the expensive machines I have used before. It is barely louder than an electric kettle. I am delighted with it.
