Great little vacuum de-gasser. The pump is really quiet, comes with pump oil (just a little more than necessary for top-ups), gets down to a really decent -27.25-ish in Hg pressure, and all the components seem really well made. 1" thick acrylic lid, heavy stainless steel canister, sturdy hosing, quality pressure gauge and valves- I'm surprised you get all this for the price.

This vacuum chamber is perfect to use in sealing not only Mason Jars for food preservation, but also pickle jars, Salsa jars or others with a sealing lid. I just put the closed jar into the chamber, pull a vacuum, and then release. The lid will pull down sealing the contents in an air tight vacuum to help keep my dehydrated foods safe. This saves me money by allowing me to reuse my condiment jars and not throwing them into the land fill.

Worked great. Quieter than I expected. I have tried this a couple times so far and it works like it’s supposed to. I use it to pull bubbles out of plastisol while making soft plastic lures. Made crystal clear baits! Costs less than other brands and does the same job.

Easy to use. Fill pump with oil, connect hoses, drop on gasket, turn on. Held a vacuum all night. No regrets with this purchase.

Das Gerät funktioniert toll und einwandfrei. Eine bessere Beschreibung (vor allem mit deutlicheren Bildern) wäre sehr hilfreich, da nicht klar war, dass alle vier Dichtungen verbaut werden müssen und das Gerät anfangs nicht richtig funktionierte. Eine etwas umständliche, letztendlich aber erfolgreiche Rücksprache mit dem Kundendienst hat Abhilfe geschaffen. Trotz der Startprobleme: Top-Gerät zu Top-Preis!

tres bien emballé fonctionne correctement. notice un peu succincte sur la mise en route (préciser de remplir la pompe avec l huile, plan de montage de l ensemble manomètre rondelles ..) fond de la cuve pas plat j ai ajouté 4 tampons en feutre pour protéger la cuve et assurer son assise bien a plat si non parait tres bien fonctionner voir a la longue.

I recently purchased this vacuum chamber to perform some experiments related to a PhD project. I was surprised at how good quality all of the equipment was, especially for the price! I will say that the rotary vane pump is very smoky, but our lab has an extraction system so it wasn't a concern!
