So I agree with other reviewers that the lack of instructions can be a challenge. I took pictures of the insides of mine just to be safe, and have a matching chair that didn_ have a broken motor that I could also consult as a reference. That being said, it was a pretty simple fix. I loved that it comes with an extra length of cord in case you have a ways to go to plug it in. I also love that it comes with a new switch. Just in case your original switch went bad or didn_ fit. Awesome! Quieter than original motor. Only running for a day, so hope it lasts longer than original.

This product is excellent, at the moment very sturdy and seems well built. The only issue I have is that on the photo of the product the connectors are of a small prong lead and a 5 pin lead, this is incorrect, what comes in the box is two prong like leads, not an issue because I changed out all the mechanism but initially I just wanted to replace the item that broke.. easy to fit.

Looks like the unit I was trying to replace, but is not. However, when installing, it did fit and works OK.My old unit had three anchor connection on each side for adjustment when the unit slides. The new unit had only two, but we still made it fit using the two points to anchor the two connecting arms. The screws included with the new unit included a anchor bolt (instead of the bolts on the old unit) and was missing a cotter pin, which I used a wire tie, could have used a nail but decided against. It would have been nice to have instructions or at least a picture on installation for a reclining chair, but the unit could be used for many applications, so they did not have any. The bottom line is, this unit save us from buying another reclining chair for a minimum cost in replace parts. It was just very hard to find the right part from all the options out there. Verifying the two ends for the right anchor points and connections, Number of holes on the sliding plastic block, the proper length of the unit on how they describe the measurements from end to end, the electrical connections and its exit point. You have to use the new wiring system that comes with the new unit.

Received this yesterday and it's a great replacement for the original motor and button. i had to take off all of the old parts because the connectors are different on the new one's, but it only took me half an hour to do the whole job. All of the parts that are required are included in the package including a UK plug adaptor which i wasn't expecting. The seller emailed me a couple of days before delivery with a concern about customs charges, but Parcleforce delivered it 3 days earlier than expected with no problems or extra charges.The recliner now works better than it did before ( a lot quieter and quicker). Maybe DFS should start fitting these parts. I would highly recommend this product and the seller.
