Turned out it_ too big for my mini mill with the rotary base. Should have gotten the 3.Overall quality is very good.

I have used this vise with parallels and faced aluminum and mild steel with no major chatter or loosening. I also worked with it on the mill to produce 6 holes on a round object and liked using the dial. I did notice that the 90 is not set 90 degrees and had to be offset by 5 degrees to have it square to the mill_ work table.
