This is a perfect replacement for a glass carboy! Nice heavy duty with sturdy handles to lift it. Easier to mix and easier to clean! Did the drilling on the lid for the grommet to use a bubble airlock. I made a 6 gallon metering stick for filling.

Great for storing oil.

This thing top quality. Thicker steel than expected and very well built. The lid makes a very tight seal too.

I unpacked this item and found some light scratches symmetrically opposite each other, maybe by some industrial process, but i can live with those.The can is nicely made, the metal as thick as advertised, and overall it looks to be an heirloom item.I bought this to sit on top of my woodstove, full of water, where it absorbs the heat spikes and releases them when the fire diminishes.It works well and I_ very pleased to have invested money in a quality piece of manufacturing.
