Stayed worm in my roof tent all night in 37 degree temps two nights... Would buy again!

I brought this to put in my Freightliner Classic to cut down on idling.. And for the price comparison to a wabesco or espar heater this thing is just as good for a third the price, it's actually the same unit just sold as the big brands to charge you 1200 to 1500 bucks... The only down side for me being in the US is the control panel only reads in Celsius not Farenheit.. If someone has a update for it please let me know, other wise you have to Google your temps and write them down on a piece of masking tape.. but I do recommend for sure, It took me about 2hrs and this thing was breathing fire, I had one piece missing for the duct work but didn't stop me from installing and getting it working, it took about a month and a half to get the missing piece, but like I said it didn't stop it from working... I hope this helps buyers with making a decision when your looking for a unit for heat. I'm saving at least 200 bucks a week from idling my thirsty Cat engine!!!Update I have had to use my heater several times in the last month because of early cold weather and she is still cooking, I brought a different truck since my first review and let the other unit go with the truck and the buyer called me and thanked me for installing the heater in that truck.. If you want to save on fuel and save on down time with these newer def trucks because most people don't bump up the idle on there break to allow there trucks to regain, it leads to clogged regin filters and check engine lights and engines going into derate which all leads to down and shop time... Keep it moving with a bunk heater... And also remember in temps of teens and signal digits you have to idle anyway and when you truck temps aren't putting out the heat you need you can still run this heater and stay toasty...

Instructions were a bit hard to understand (translation) but after working with it I was able to figure it out for the mostpart. very efficient and cranks out the heat. Package was missing silencer but seller made it right. operation is fairly quiet other than airflow. would be great for 400+sq ft room.

This heater has worked great so far. However the provided fuel line is to small and I would definitely get a muffler for it. It is a little loud. The instructions take a little bit to figure out. Over all a good product

Great heater for rv. We got stuck in the Texas deep freeze, no power for 4-5 days and no propane available anywhere. Rvs get cold without heat in freezing temperatures. In the middle of this I visited my neighbors and their little camper was warm and toasty. They didn't need to worry about finding propane and they had been running this heater for days off a single little bottle of diesel fuel. I ordered one that night and neighbors helped install it. Never going to freeze again.

Absolutely fantastic little heater.Made camping in some 20F nights fantastic.Very fuel efficient, consumes very little power, and produces way more heat than I expected(or needed), im glad I went with the 3kW unit rather than one of the larger ones (5kW 8kW).Having the 4 tubes coming out of the front was actually convenient for small spaces like a tent. Even with the heater on low i was able to route 3 of the 4 tubes outside of my tent in 20weather and still be warm.

Agr_blement surpris par le bon fonctionnement du produit. En revanche, la notice est vraiment mal r_ig_ et elle est surtout g__ique pleins d'autres packs contenant des tableaux de commande diff_ents. J'ai trouv par chance sur YouTube quelqu'un qui explique tr_ bien comment l'utiliser et qui donne le code d'acc_ aux param_res alors qu'il ne figure nulle part sur la notice ... C'est 1688 (on peut ensuite le changer dans le dernier param_re). Attention quand m_e ne pas d__ler des param_res comme la vitesse min ou max car ?a changerait le ratio air/gazole qui alimente la combustion et ?a l'encrasserait tr_ rapidement le rendant inutilisable.C'est le 4_e chauffage au gazole que j'installe dans diff_ents camions, j'_ais tr_ septique d'essayer une "chinoiserie" mais au final, il fonctionne tr_ bien et m'a l'air m_e plus silencieux que mon Planar 2D. Et d_ail non n_ligeable : pas mal de pi_es de rechange sont en vente sur Ebay pour ce genre de mod_es. Donc vous pourrez l'entretenir comme un "vrai".Voil, on en reparlera au printemps prochain savoir si j'en suis toujours satisfait.

The included exhaust tube, once cut, cannot slide over the heater exhaust manifold or the muffler. Only the original ends of the tube fit over the fittings. Cabin walls are insulated, ceiling is not. Full length roof ridge vent and a metal roof.This heater was installed outside, piped the heat from two of four outlets into the cabin through a window. I closed off the other two outlets. This heater raised the temperature from 40 to 70 without any issues. It kept the cabin nice and cozy all night when the temp dipped below freezing as well. I never had to set it above about 3.5 to keep the cabin warm.Very happy with this purchase. I'm going to get another just to heat my shed!One star deduction for lack of instructions and no F readings, only C and no thermostat.
