More than expected, excellent accuracy for my old machine. Only minus was the marking of the scale, there is no drawing or Mark that you could see the degrees...

Does what it says on the tin. Needed a quick once over with a needle file for a bit of deburring, but at this price there is nothing to complain about.

Good vise, mounted on a PM25 mill. Fit of everything was good, it fits the mill well. You will need to de burr everything, edges are sharp! And I had to mill the nut side of the mounting slots. They are cast and in machined. The keys fit well and ran within .001" (keys on the bottom to the t-slot with the keys milled to fit my 12mm t - slots) I took .002 off the t-slot side and indicated it in.

All surfaces within 25 microns. Only fault was brass bush on leadscrew not drilled through for oil feed. Oiler above it was therefore a waste of space! Drilled out bush and now very happy with vice!

Average vice, used it on my small milling machine. Found a crack on one of the bolt holes on the fixed clamp head, when I disassembled it for cleaning. I could fix it though, but don't know if it has the same strength......time will tell

Seems good enough quality for the price. I had to de-bur it a bit, but not much. The keys don't line up parallel with the fixed jaw.

The 5inch vice arrived promptly and surprisingly undamaged given it's weight. Unpacking it I noticed immediately that the finishing was not great but 20 minutes with files took off the sharp edges. Out of the box the jaws aligned well and the action was smooth bit I felt that there were some small modifications that would make it better. Firstly I didn't like how the lock collar just screwed onto the threads so I made a brass split collar to replace it. Also the bearing surface for the back of the lead screw had not been machined and caused a little binding. I used a dremel tool to flatten this and then added thrust bearings on both front and back surfaces to make it easier to use. Overall this product is, with a little TLC, value for money.
