For the money this is an adequate vise for my small milling machine. It came with indexing keys that can be machined to fit the slots in your mill table. The jaws are ground but don_ have a step as I would prefer. I will mill a step on each side. It a big chuck of cast iron and ships in a sturdy cardboard box. No issues.

1) the 4" is a good size for my Jet jmd-18 mill.2) castings are rough, but the machined surfaces are adequate. It holds evenly across the jaws. The lead screw is smooth, and the jaws don't have a lot of slop in them.3) the swivel is draggy and clunky, but I suspect non-chinesium fasteners will help with that.

Seems to be good for the price. Instruction manual seems to be translated from, Chinese? Unintelligible for the most part. I'll muddle through.

Very nice mill vise . I machined a key slot on the side so as to stand it up on its side and the cast iron that it it is made of seems to be a high grade cast iron

Ich habe einen Maschinenschraubstock f_ meine Oberfr?se gesucht und mich aufgrund des g_stigen Preises f_ diesen entschieden. Der Schraubstock ist gut aber nicht perfekt verarbeitet, mit kleineren Nacharbeiten jedoch sehr gut auf der Fr?se verwendbar, die fehlende Gravur der Nullstellung l??t sich leicht verschmerzen oder mit einem Hartmetallstichel selbst herstellen. F_ den Preis ein sehr guter Schraubstock, deshalb auch f_f Sterne.

Bought this for my mill and let me tell you its a beast. Holds work tight and it doesn't move with very heavy duty and smooth operating clamping system. If you have the room and space, I would highly recommend you buy this vise as you can't beat it for the price and quality.

Package could use some foam for the underside... it only comes with foam protection on the top and if handled roughly the bottom will scrape and not seat propperly on milling table.. (unless the swivel base is removed) it comes enclosed in plastic bag and covered in protecrive oil.Speaking about the design features, if jaws could be removed for direct use as split vise (directly onto the milling table) it would be awesome. Handle is good quality but not a speedhandle
