Ottimo rapporto qualit-prezzo
Arrivato in anticipo. Purtroppo non ho ancora avuto modo di provalo. Peccato per le istruzioni in inglese. Non ho capito bene a cosa serva il terzo contenitore piccolino (non il condensatore ovviamente).

Nearly perfect ?
Well build distil, the stainless steel pot is not suitable for induction hob, I use a gas hob ant it works fine.Comes with an instruction manual that was very helpful.I gave only four stars because the cooler coil is to small, the distillate exist with ~30?! My solution was a DIY build coil cooler, made out of a drain pipe and 150cm long, 8mm copper pipe and some fittings.Another adaptation that I made was to place the Thumper on top of the port. This saves space and preheat the Thumper.I needed only one new fitting to connect.See photos!

Does the job
The basic system is well designed and easy to assemble. The instructions however are appalling. Fortunately with a little common sense you don't need them.I have used it several times to extract the alcohol from and old batch of wine that never made it to bottles, same with some cider that just didn't cut it and finally for some cider made for the job with my own apples. It takes a little practice but things to ignore are any reference to methanol, you simply can't produce that from fermentation and distillation unless you use wooden stills -which this most certainly is not. The references to Heads and tails are relevant though so the first distillate [only work out when it changes by a tiny taste] and the tails distillate need throwing away.As for the thumper, I only used it once and didn't really have much success, I'll maybe try again some time. Without the Thumper I calculate I attained 72% ethanol in all three attempts [used SG to calc]. This was then diluted to approx 44% and apple essence added to make a pretty neat schnapps.

Nice little distiller
Tried it once, seemed to have done the job just fine. Certainly good value for money, for newbies and hobby distillers obviously. The only thing we struggled with is making the top of the pot airtight (a very important thing when you distill). The seal should have been better in my opinion. We managed to make it airtight but it was difficult, and it seems like its a bit of a hit and miss whether you can make it airtight or not.Comes with a waterpump for circulating the cooling water, which is nice.

Vevor moonshine still
I got the still a little earlier than expected. On opening the box I found it to be a tad flimsy, all the parts that were itemised were there.I did a test run and found the still to eventually produce a good product so I will give high marks for that.A few points on the downside though which are mostly niggles as opposed to critical.1. The cooler takes some adjusting to get the flow rate to be consistent. You have to keep an eye on the levels of water as it has a tendency to either overflow or underflow. The valves are not really that well engineered and take some time to adjust to the correct flow..2. The thermostat almost immediately filled with condensation so the guage was not really that well visible. It doe not clear up. It could do with being in the condensate outlet as the readings you do get are from the kettle body which are less than accurate for the conded material temps.3. The gin/botanicals basket is unusable really because of the design. It certainly could do with a rethink. If you were to put botanicals in it the condensate would not perculate through them. The inlet of the chamber is at lid level as opposed to being fed through a pipe into the spirit the botanicals would be immersed ion The condensate flows over the top instead of running through the fluid creating head and percolation then the condensate leaving through the exit and into the worm. Useless to say the least. All in all not a bad bit of kit for the price but could do with some very inexpensive modifications to improve the overall machine.Good for beginners with a bit of knowledge though and worth a try if you want to get into distillates.
