This product works pretty nicely, but I recommend you try it at home before you try to learn how to use it in the field. I bought this as another way to jack up my Jeep, a 4-door Wrangler that weighs over 2 tons. It is necessary to align the jack vertically, because it tends to want to lean, which pushes the Jeep forward or back. The hose that is supposed to work off the exhaust does not fit the Jeep's very well and is not satisfactory to inflate the Jack. Because I use the Jeep off-road, I carry a portable air pump, which worked well with the jack. On flat ground it only took 8.5 PSI to lift both wheels on either side, even though there is a 3.5 inch lift making the Jeep stand rather high. I thought the felt pads that came with the jack were insufficient for use on rocky ground, so I carry 2 large squares of old carpet to protect the bag.
