I purchased this thinking I’ll be able to strip a whole bunch of extension cords. But it won’t cut the insulation it just rolls out from underneath the knife. Haven’t tried solid wire yet but in NFG for 14 gauge cab tire.

Don’t work half the time it’s just annoying

This product was defective upon receiving it. I do not know if this is the case for alot of these items. The quality is sub par for sure. Feeding bracket did not line up with blade or even the gears to pull it through. It was always crooked when fed through.

Ik ben begonnen met de dikke kabels omdat ik hiervan slechts enkele meters had, en daar geen probleem. Dan werkt het toestel zelfs heel goed en door de zwengel te vervangen door de boormachine werkt het ook nog eens supersnel => dus tot hiertoe héél tevreden. Voor het verwijderen van de bescherming, het omhulsel van de 3G-, 4G-, of 5G-2.5 kabels ook geen enkel probleem, die kabels zijn dan ook 9 tot 11mm dik. Maar wanneer ik de 1,7mm-kabels (in theorie 1,5mm) wou strippen, waarvan ik een grote hoeveelheid heb, begonnen de problemen. De kabel loopt ALTIJD naast het mes. Ik kon bij elke poging slechts 2 à 3 cm snijden, en dan loopt de kabel scheef, naast het mes. Het mes is nog scherp, maar staat een klein beetje uit center. De tandwielen zijn ok, maar voor die dunne kabel (met buitenzijde zelfs 3,2mm) zijn ze niet conisch genoeg => voor dunne kabels is dit toestel dus totaal ongeschikt en krijgt het zelfs niet één ster ... Een geluk dat ik een test deed op kortere stukken kabel. Stel je voor dat ik eerst in totaal enkele honderden meters, 3G-, 4G- of 5G-kabels had ontmantelt, om nadien de binnenkabels te strippen om tot de constatatie te komen dat al het werk van buitenkant strippen nutteloos was geweest ... !?

Had issue where original order got lost in shipping, instead of being able to call and talk to someone on the phone I had to talk to AI over text. They made me wait for 2 weeks past estimated delivery date to address the shipping issue. Instead of just sending another one they gave me a refund and made me buy another one which was more expensive than the original order because I lost my welcome discount. After I ordered the second one it took a lot of adjusting to get it to work correctly and is still mediocre. - Customer service sucks - Product works alright but is mediocre at best

Have not used. Also no operating manual or parts list. Wrong replacement blades shown as also to buy and can’t find replacement blades on site

Für dünne Kabel nicht zu verwenden ( erst ab 2,5 Quadrat ). Bei mehradrigem Draht noch schlechter. Der Kabel rutscht immer neben die Messerscheibe - eine Katastrophe bin einfach nur enttäuscht.

Total waste of time and money. Wire won't stay centered in the groove. Seems like it will work but even the slightest bend causes the wire to pop out from the blade. Looking for a refund.
