Instructions were impossible to understand in Chinglish !!! had to go to Youtube and find someone who knew the machine . Thank god there was one . Test run it at home , ALWAYS !! Had e-1 error and e-8 error pop up on screen . e-1 for battery , it has to be FUULY CHARGED to run this machine . E-8 for fuel , there was a kink in the fuel feed line right at the bottom of the machine . Line is too short and consequently pinches the line where it enters the burner at the bottom . Use it to heat a 16 ft toy hauler which we use for a camper . Took it out in the field and ran great except for having to charge the battery every day with a generator .Just used the on/off switch and the up/down settings from the remote control . Did not try preprogamming the timer for auto time on/off . WAY too complicated for old folks . Outside temp was only just above freezing and freezing one night and on low setting , was comfy .

I ran into a bit of an issue with the filter supplied, broke at first attempt to hook up, but found one down at the small engine shop. Heats the van up nicely. Very happy with purchase.

I am 80 years old I installed the heater in my 2013 sprinter in two 4 hour days by my self. I viewed many Youtube's first for install and programming. This morning the heater came on at 6:00 by itself so I got up not in cold. Very Happy

I received the heater much faster than expected. That was awesome. When I picked the box up off the driveway I heard stuff rattling around inside and thought "Oh here we go". To my surprise everything was there and actually packaged better that it sounded. The metal mounting plate would not fit over the fuel inlet and the studs at the same time. I drilled the plate holes a bit bigger and gently tweaked the fuel inlet as it was way to close to the air inlet. OK, now we're getting somewhere. I bench tested the unit. It took many start up cycles to get fuel to the pump and then the heater. There are no demonstrations on the digital controller on YouTube, so I would just turn it on, let the pump run until it timed out and disconnect from battery. I repeated this until it fired. The controller is confusing, but it can (sort of) be figured out. Once the unit is running it works AWESOME! I gave it 4 stars because it does work and at a fraction of the name brands. Otherwise I would give it like 2 stars at most, due to the lack of instructions.

Hat auf Anhieb funktioniert,heizt sehr gut.Wir haben sie Station?r in der Garage mit 50m2 eingebaut.Es ist eine deutsche Bedienungsanleitung dabei.Einziges Problem ist die Fernbedienung funktioniert nicht. Wird aber auch nicht ben?tigt.

Complaint up front- it was missing instructions, and the controller isn't very intuitive to use. But a little searching got me the info I needed for setup, and after playing with the controller a bit I figured it out well enough. I'm still not in love with the controller- it works wells enough though.Other than those gripes- well packed and everything as described. Quality of everything seems good.I'm going to be installing this in an "adventure" van that I haven't bought yet. I wanted to test it out though so I set it up on a small frame. I don't have any way to exactly measure the heat it puts out, but comparing it to the typical 1200 or so watts a typical electric heater puts out, 5000kw seems about right. It's a lot of heat, way more than needed to keep a typical room warm- I was heating my living room, kitchen at a bit more- about 700sf of space with it.I'm sure it'll be way more than enough for a van I- I expect it would be fine for the typical RV, unless it was enormous, or uninsulated, or you were in crazy Siberian cold.Also I'll note it's louder than I expected it to be. BUT I had it totally out in the open- typically you mount these inside cabinetry or under something. So I expect when it's finally installed the noise won't be unusually loud.
